
Omi: US Expansion and Marketing Build
Omi, a virtual photo studio for leading brands, set its sights on expanding into the US market, starting from a true zero-to-one position. The brief was twofold: successfully land the first AE in the region, while simultaneously building out the foundations of the marketing function.
This was not a straightforward international expansion. Omi needed to establish early traction in a highly competitive US market without any existing local infrastructure. The challenge lay in identifying a pioneering Account Executive capable of operating autonomously in a new territory, while also defining and hiring the first marketing leader.
2B partnered with Omi’s Founder & CEO to deliver a cohesive, multi-function hiring strategy. Operating as an embedded partner, the focus was on speed, precision, and alignment with Omi’s long-term vision. The searches ran in parallel across sales and marketing, ensuring consistency in candidate quality while addressing the unique demands of each function.
